In engineering practice, it is well understood that accurate naming is the foundation of any design. Clearly defined terminology establishes shared understanding, delineates responsibilities, and ensures predictable collaboration. From my perspective, the same principle becomes increasingly important as organizations scale their AI initiatives. As AI adoption accelerates, the need for disciplined domain definition becomes more evident. To enhance transparency, reduce operational ambiguity, and support scalable processes, it may be appropriate to formalize a new competency area - for example, Digital Business Architect. Such a domain provides a structured framework for specialists operating at the intersection of business, architecture, and AI. Their experience in software development, systems thinking, and model understanding becomes a key value driver within this scope. In my view, domain formalization is an element of organizational maturity. It reduces interpretive variability, eliminates unclear expectations, and creates conditions for more effective and aligned cross‑team collaboration.
